Samba Drumming!

The Samba drumming was great fun! Not as hard as people thought it would be, and it was a brilliant evening. Aoife, the instructor who was brought in to teach us how to drum, explained everything simply, and broke it down to make the whole experience very easy and we were drumming some Samba rhythms together as a group in no time at all. Definitely needed the break at half time, as the Surdos (the big bass drums) were heavier than they looked. Everyone had the chance to try all the different drums that were there, and swop around if they wanted to.
