Happy Birthday shOUT!
Can you believe it? shOUT! turns 3 years old this month! The group has accomplished so much, since it began those three years ago by volunteers and Youth Work Ireland Galway staff. The group have participated in pride parades, marriage equality rallies, and IDAHO to name a few. The group have done many activities ranging from the infamous pet rocks, pot luck dinner, horse back riding, petersberg, and much much more. Many have come and gone within the shOUT! group, but the most important thing, is that this service has been available for any LGBT or questioning young person. The group continues to stand strong – may it last for many many years to come, as an advocate and support to LGBT young people in Galway and surrounding counties!
To mark our lovely 3rd Birthday, of course we’re going to have a birthday party, with loads of games, and yummy cake and ice cream too. We hope you can make it – what a great accomplishment and day to celebrate!!!!
